Default Fuel Leak, Need Help

I have been doing some work on my bike for the past few weeks and have had the fuel line disconnected so I could move the tank back and do some wiring. I finally finished up today and fired up the bike. Fuel started pouring out of the connection point from the line to the tank. I shut the bike off and messed with it, and now I just have a steady drip any time the fuel line is plugged into the connector. Im not sure what to do. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Any pointers will be really appreciated.

Try unplugging it and plugging it back in, while you are at it inspect any o'rings to make sure they weren't damaged.

After playing with it some more, I had a chunk of the o ring fall out. I was able to fish it out and put another in. I always have a few o rings laying around just in case. The ones I had are a little larger than the one that was in there appears to have been, but it seems to be working for now. My new problem is the battery. Ive been digging around for the correct O ring but cant find a part number anywhere. Ive done a few other searches and it looks like HD sells the whole quick connector but not just the o ring. Im going to search around a little more and see what I can get.

Try measuring the old one (thickness, inside diameter, outside diameter) or just take the old one with you down to your local auto parts dealer. Make sure you tell them it's for fuel, you don't something that will deteriorate on you.

Fueltool sells the O-rings, proper lubricant, and a unique tool to remove and replace the O-rings of the fuel quick disconnect. I carry their kit in my saddlebag and it once saved my butt on a ride. Google them.
