Seal it in plastic.
Some license plates have a steel plate behind them, if it does not then make one.
Place it between plate and backer.
Use wing nuts for top two holes.
The HD chrome toolbox will open with any HD key (shhh don't tell anybody) so that's an easy place to keep it assuming you carry your key. I also carry tools in there in the HD nylon bag that fits perfectly in the box so there's another benefit to have one. I happen to think they look good too.
I think its asinine that we need to keep our registration on the bike in today's world - what's the point of carrying that when we have a license plate? I'd prefer that jackasses couldn't get my address just by reading my registration on my bike. Like others, the FL registration is about as thick as 6 credit cards when folded up so I'm not carrying that in my pocket.
Anyone know why we need to carry it in today's world?
Hmmm I wonder if taking a picture of it and keeping that in my phone would suffice.....
Ziplock in my unlockable saddlebags. I agree it's crazy to be carrying this stuff when the cops have it all on computer. I don't like the idea that somebody could go through my bags and find my address but what ya gonna do.
Mine is ⅔ of a piece of paper. I haven't read the second ⅓, perhaps I don't need to carry that? I just fold the whole stupid thing up and stick it in a baggie and wonder WTF do I need to carry this.
Either way I'm not carrying it in my wallet, I gave up on the Castanza wallet years ago. Thin is in. lol And I have 4 vehicles in the family.
