Default Where do you keep your papers?

No, not your ZigZags! I was keeping my registration & insurance in a plastic envelope velcro'ed to the underside of my seat, but it is such a pain in the *** to get to. I don't want anymore crap in my wallet, so that's out. I thought of one of those metal side tool boxes, but don't want to need a key to get to it. I also do not want any purses or luggage strapped onto my bike as I'm trying to keep it minimalistic. I am searching for something I can easily get to from the saddle. So, what other options have you guys come up with (with pics please)?

I'm in the same boat but have decided to bite the bullet and buy a small leather tank pouch to replace the tank bib.

I put my papers in a small plastic bag and then put the bag in one of the inside pockets of my vest that has a zipper on it. Easy access and they are always with me.

I've got a leather bag above my headlight. Got my ins and registration papers in a zip-loc bag inside it.

Two small pieces of paper I keep em folded up in my wallet... takes less space than a credit card.

For as often as I need to take them out (once a year when each one renews), I will continue keeping them in a ziplok bag under my seat.

If you want to be creative you could probably figure out a way to keep them rolled up in the tube underneath the gas gauge... Doesn't that just pull out and pop back in? Might need to extend the wires...

Drivers license and papers in my back pocket along with a credit card when I am on my bike. No need for a wallet.
