Now that's funny.

Pretty spendy option. I've seen cheaper on other websites though.

I just keep mine in my wallet and with 2 bikes, it's kinda stuffy, but conclude that that's the price I pay for riding 2 bikes.

My thinking is that if I had the papers on/in the bike and it was stolen, I'd have to go home to give them the VIN, thereby slowing down the process of catching the dirtbags who ripped me off. No, I haven't memorized my VIN.

I ain't about to hand my phone to a cop (who I don't know) with the registration and insurance on the phone. Great idea, but there's the notion of privacy (tho' I've got nothing to hide, what therein contained ain't none of the government's business) and he will have to go back to the car with the phone (alone) to run the stuff if you don't have papers.

Depending on the jurisdiction, they may have all the information they need off your license to validate everything's legit, but having papers clinches it.

Until they completely automate and announce this, I'm packing papers on my person.

I keep my registration and insurance card in my wallet. I've done it that way for 40 years.

I keep both bikes registrations/insurance card in my wallet. I keep very little in there so this isn't an issue for me.

I just carry insurance card in wallet. Registration is the tag. Around here they run it before they ever get out of the car so they already know who is spose to be on the thing anyway

In Ontario, Canada we can provide a "true copy" of our ownership, which is both sides photocopied but must have the actual insurance slip. I keep mine in a small leather fold that I keep in my vest/jacket or bike toolbox, My ownership stays at home at all times. This way there is no risk of someone getting the ownership off the bike
