I haven't been under the tank in my Softail yet, but my Sportster and two different Dyna's had extra, unused TS plugs under the tank and taped to another part of the harness.

All done apart for the plug connection which I will wait to arrive. I managed to put small connectors on each end within the connector which will work until I get the proper plug. Thanks yzergod for the link to the connector.

I've attached some pics of the final results. I'm happy with how it turned out.

I haven't installed any load equalizer's as the lights blink OK. The only problem is the indicator light on the centre console that flashes really quickly. I presume this is what the load equalizer will fix but for now it doesn't impact the led lights flashing. This is quite strange though that the green indicator lights are affected but the LED flashers aren't. I tried the reset as suggested on the other posts. I disconnected the battery, connected, turned the bile to accessories, hit the right indicator and then the left, but nothing changed.

Appreciate all the quality advise on this website. Would have to be one of the best I've visited.

Excellent news!
Glad it all made sense in the end.

If you do get any probs with the LED indicators flashing incorrectly albeit just on the console or they don't flash correctly when arming/disarming the bike then it might be worth considering the Badlands III load equiliser - it's a plug in and play- and does what it says on the tin.
There's an option for the spliced type or fitted with plugs, make sure it's fitted with plugs. Their web site is superb and takes you through all the different types req for the HD range of models.

BTW, nice looking bike!
