Thanks Rocker B! I think it turned out really good! Some mishaps with the dealership, but they made it right in the end (kind of) lol
And RikNBeth, no worries man! Just still have to swap out the gas cap, pegs, linkage and brake res.... Who knew those little accessories would be so damn expensive?!?! Lol
Man, the bike is looking good. Do your *** a favor and get rid of that damn H-D seat. You might THINK it's ok now, but when you finally ditch it for something better you'll be all "man, I shoulda' done this right when I ditched those crappy f-ing tires...."
At the top of the Softail forum there is a sticky on improving the BO's front suspension. I waited a few years before I fixed the front end on mine ... big mistake. If I could get a "do-over"? ...tires/front suspension/extended forward controls/seat all at once and then move on to other stuff - that's the way I'd do it now.
The bike looks dope man! I'm looking into menace apes myself. How do you like them, after having some time on them? Im 6'1 and cannot decide on 14'' or 16''. I'll probably go with the CVO or Thunderbike risers.

I'm 5' 11" and have 16" Menace apes with CVO risers on my BO, and love 'em!! They put my hands about at my shoulder height , so at 6' 1" I'm sure you could go 16" ....
Here's a couple pics...
