Blackline seat question

Just thinking out loud . I won't be doing any two up riding until later in the summer and wanted to do a solo seat for now . My question is - I am planning on cutting the pillion and converting the stock seat to solo . When I do decide to start a little two up riding my plan (if it works ) is to pick up a pillion and sissy for a Slim and use that . Would it be any issue using the Slim pillion with the trimmed stock seat ? I will be modifying the rear stock bracket for solo so I would think it should all just bolt up as a stock 2 piece slim seat . Sound right ?

I was able to save the pillion when I cut the second seat off. All you have to do is mount a second tab on the pillion and you will be able to bolt it down. The only issue I see is the second tab may move the seat back so you will have to drill your fender

It'll work..you can use the slim pillion with the chopped blackline seat. I've done it in the past.
You can also do as stal94gt suggests and add another tab.
