The progressive kit is very simple to install and you can adjust your ride height. I used that kit and race tech gold valves. I have 2 inches between my trees and sliders and I've never bottomed out and I absolutely love my front end set up.

although I have a Blackline..I installed Night Train forks in order to be able to use the Progressive Drop In kit... the install documentation said not to go lower than 2 inches.. I went down to 2.75 inches and the bike rides fine.. however, the travel of the front end is quite limited once you go below 2 inches of drop.. I recently rode 600 miles and I purposely did some front end hard braking.. no issues at all.. the Drop In kit is ridiculously easy to install..
