Awesome. I have a full set of Black ones arriving Monday as well.
Make sure you post some pics of them fitted.
In the box of the 7" Daymaker Black, there was a black retaking ring was included. However, when I replace the assembly on my black Slim S, the black rings mounting tabs were too long and did not work. So I had to use the stock ring from the halogen assembly. It is unfinished and there creates a halo effect. I would rather have the black on black though. Not sure if you had experienced the same thing?
My Black set of LED's arrived today.
I will try and find time to fit them in the next few days.
Then i have to decide if i like the chrome ones currently fitted or these new black ones better. I might need to start a poll thread to see which set stay on the bike.
attempted to install a daymaker in my 07 deuce yesterday. Harley calls for the vibration damper for the deuce. Bought that too. With the damper installed per instructions, the daymaker doesn't fit in the headlight bucket(sits too high in it and I can't put the trim ring back on). Without the damper, the daymaker is loose inside with the trim ring(about 1/4" of wiggle room is how loose it is). What gives? As far as I know its a stock headlight bucket(bought the bike used) and I have all the part numbers harley calls for for it to fit a deuce.. Any suggestions? My next step is to cut down the size of the vibration damper to make it work but I don't see why I would need to if I bought everything correctly....
