Hey all,
I want to get the wife some new bars for her 2014 Slim. She is vertically challenged and has to reach forward while riding with the stock bars. Any suggestion on which brand or type? Kind of been browsing the Internet for some, but not sure which to go with.
You may consider starting with different risers on the stock bars to see if that helps. A few people here use the stock Deluxe risers which have some pullback. I did that for a couple months before moving to apes, and it really helped me.
I've been running a pair of Indian Beach Bars on my Shovel for years. They are pretty wide though.... They're going with the bike (I just sold it). But, I have another brand new set hanging in the basement for the next bike. That's how much I like them.

That's what I did.
I was leaning forward just enough to aggravate my bad back, and those risers made all the difference. (H-D p/n 55900023 - SoftailŽ Slim Pullback Riser Kit)
Now I sit upright without the extra reach.
I was surprised at just much difference they made.

The Stree Slammer Bars by HD are awesome bars on the Slim. Actually look and feel better than the stock bars. I almost bought a Slim that had these bars. Worth a look.
