180 or 200 tire on a 2004 fatboy. Wow, without cutting the fender struts.I would need to see some pictures for this one!!!
He can't remember where he put the pictures of the bike that he can't remember what size tire they put on using the kit that he can't remember where they got it from....but he DOES remember they moved the tire forward and that cured everything.

Pics are not necessary.
Hey guy, I don`t know what your problem is butI wasn`t trying to cause any problems but you sure seem to like causing them.I guess there`s one in every bunch. first of all, I never said I had pictures soI don`t know where you got that one, out of your *** maybe? Second, the reason I can`t remember is it was 3 yrs ago and likeI said before,I wasn`t the guy doing the build, just checking out the progress as it was built. We did 2 bikes at the same time andI could`nt remember which bike got what tire but after thinking about it for a whileI remembered what sizes went on which bike. You can`t tell me you`ve never forgetten anything because clearly you forgot you manners, talking sh*t to the new guy. I also clearly said several times the kit was from DM Customs, you can read right? I do remember having to move the wheel forward because I thought it was strange that it would be required to do that. The fact of the matter isI don`t care who believes me. I responded to a post about wide tire kits and gave my answer. If you don`t like it, move on to the next thread. I`ve only been a member for 24hrs and I can already tell your popular around here.
Isay that 160 is your max so you could have proper space adjustment. Oh and by the way chopperhead2, [sm=ttiwwp.gif]
well considering that a 150 comes stock, I know you can fit bigger than a 160. I don`t have pics of the bike, never said I did. it was sold shortly after being built.
sure seems to be alot of "know it all" people around here.I was told this was a great site but the way things are going in my first 24hrs, I`d say it`s not much different than any other site so far. I don`t care if you guys don`t believe me because I got nothing to prove to anyone. I`m not the one up on my high horse so I`m cool. IfI come across some pics of the kit we used I`ll post them for all of you.
here is another thing I found fromthe DM customs site. It clearly says they wanted to build a kit that doesn`trequire frame cuttingbut allows a 180 tire.
DM Customs specializes in the manufacturing and sales of wide tire kits for Softails, Dynaâs and Road King models for Harley Davidson motorcycles, with sales worldwide. We wanted to develop a kit that would be something affordable to radically change itâs apprearance like nothing else available in the market, and that did not require modifing a stock Harley Davidson motorcycles using the stock swingarm, with no cutting or frame modifactions required. DM Customs kits allows the use of a 180 size tire mounted on a 18â x 5.5â wheel with a wider fender giving our customers the hottest style being seen on the streets these days
My question is that if you cut the horns, swap the pully, and get a new fender and rim/tire, what rim should you get? I have a 2004 FXST, Would I get a wheel with the hub for my year, or would I have to get one for a 2006-2007 to match with the pully? Also, where can I find an 18x5.5" wheel, everyone I see is for 91-99, for 2000 and later they're all 18x8.5". Thanx for all the help.

most wheel companies sell a 18X5.5 wheel.I would talk with which ever wide tire kit company you plan to use and see what they recomend.
