I wouldn't take any of this personal copperhead. thing is about harleys they have so many little things that are different what might have worked for Chop's fatboywon't work on somebody else's train. Example I got 9" fender that I need to space at the mounting tabs. the guy I bought it from would have had to grind it to fit his bike. I had an 04 standard next to my 05 train this weekend and there was a solid 1/4" difference in the width of the frame rails. there are differences in these frames. when you're dealing with 1/8" tolerances everything isn't always gonna work. stick around long enough and you'll find humor in Hammer02.
your 100% right. I do tend to take things personal but when someone says that I`m wrong whenI know I`m right,I get defensive. My problem isn`t even with chops anyway soI hope he knows that. The guyI have the biggest problem joined about a year a half ago and his post count is barely higher than mine and I`ve only been here a couple days.I guess that shows how much he really has to offer this site.

To the original post, I`m sorry your thread got out of control. There are plenty of wide tire kits out there and I`m sure you`ll find one that you like. None of them are going to be easy but I`m sure the people who have done them here can help you out.

I might have joined a year and ahalf ago andmy post count is a little higher than yours, but at least I don't bash out members, calling themA**H****and that they're pathetic. You not only meant it for me, but other members as well. So please stop your whining and enjoy the forum. It's all in good fun.

no prretty much only meant for you since your the only one still dragging it on. As for the name calling,I only call it likeI see it. you act like a ***, I call you one. The only thing we have agreed on so far is that this topic is closed. i`m not going to ruin this guys thread anymore. i think we did more damage than good and i don`t like that. i joined this forum to help out fellow riders, not get into pissing matches over stupid things. I`m mostly mad at myself for letting it go this far.

For people that want to stick with the stock 16" Rim. I put a 150 Avon V rated rear tire (actually 154 mm) and it fills out the fender nicely.
