Bad voltage reg.
I had a speedo failure today at speed, but when I came to a stop the speedo would work normally.
It seemd as though it was due to voltage going up and down. Anyway I decided to check the
Voltage at the battery with the bike running and it was reading 17.8 volts!! 😱I guess it's time to
Replace it. 😞

This is one of the many things that pisses me off about Harley. It is a weak spot forever, and they don't care.
I got a Cyle ELectric. I am not going to buy one from the people who sold me the bad one.
Don't ride it you can fry your electrics, battery, ect. You are lucky.
Amps may vary, but all Harleys have volt regs.

I'm just glad i put 2and2 together and checked it out before. Something else fried. The speedo started
Acting up a few days ago during my warmup(carbed) I noticed when I reduced the rpm it would
Stop acting crazy mileage window would stop flickering. That's when I figured I need to check things
