Progress on mods.
They said they should be a straight bolt-on.
If you're using the stock top clamp/speedo combo they're not. I discovered that they are a lot wider than the stock risers so I took them to a local machine shop and had them remove stock for the left and right sides of both risers.
I didn't have enough removed so I took them back for another pass.
We I got them home to mount I discovered that the clamping bolts from the Fatboy are larger and wouldn't go through the Breakout top clamp, so they are back at the machine shop to be opened up to accommodate the larger bolts.
Then they will be powder-coated gloss black. I should have them back by Monday.
I totaled everything up and even with the additional machining and powder-coating I'll still be about $40 under the delivered price of the Thunderbike Risers and they'll be a one-off riser.
I'll post picks when I get them back.
