Anyone ever tried

To turbo a softail or am I just nuts? Any help is appreciated

Understood that point. I was talking about that much horsepower on a lighter bike and how it handled it. Maybe I wasn't clear enough.

I down know what year Softail you own, but a 2016 FatBoy weights #730. That ain't light. I've seen turbos/super chargers on FXRs & Kenny Boyce Pro Street FXR frames that weigh in the low to mid #500 range. Go for it, it'll be one hell of a ride. Good luck.

After spending a lot of money and time, it will still handle like a Harley.

Money is better spent on a sportbike if you want to go fast.

Even ona non Harley it's no longer a corner carving beast. I had the pleasure of riding a turbo zx10r many years ago, stock wheelbase bike. At 150mph it would stand straight up without throttle control. Powering through a corner is a thing of the past. A turbo bike is a rush but just a novelty and a vulgar display of power unless you're drag racing. It's so much power on a 400lb bike making 300hp it's literally useless

But sooooooo much fun.
