That was my finding as well.
I'm running V&H BigShots Staggered with quiet baffles.
After loading that first recommended map, the bike came alive - and this was after not being happy with the "canned" map the dealer installed along with the Stage 1.
I tried AutoTune a few times, just to play with it, and the changes it recommended were minor, and I was never really able to feel much difference.
I always wound up going back to that first, and BEST match for my equipment.
I would have to agree with you on the base maps from V&H. I too, switched back to the map they suggested and my bike runs like a dream. There is no need to do the Auto tune if you are using a V&H exhaust. Their maps are spot on and really work.

That's good info. I am off my Reinhart kick. I'm leaning towards the V&H 2-1 Pro Pipe.

I almost went with Reinhart myself, but decided on the V&H Eliminator 400's. Great sound and now I have to save a few more pennies and buy the Power Duels to complete the package. You will enjoy it no matter what V&H you decide on.

I had the Reinhart 2-1 on my SG. Loved it. But now that I have the FP3 it makes more sense as for as tuning to run the V&H. I do think the Reinhart looks better. Lol. But I'm on the Pro Pipe wagon for sure. I'm only waiting because I bought fullsac baffles for a set of cvo cans I got for buying my buddy lunch.
I was also looking at the FuelPak3 for my 2016 Heritage.
I already have V&H slip-ons and was looking at their Naked Air Filter and the FuelPak3.
Is there any experience on how the FuelPak3 affects the HD factory warranty compared to the Screaming Eagle Stage One option?
One more point to add, even if they knew you had the FP3 on your bike, they can't just void your warranty. You are protected by the federal government in this case. I looked this up a while back to confirm this.
Adventure Nut, How do you like those Eliminator 400's very little info or threads about them and can't find a decent review. Did they help or hinder performance and how about sound: Loud, quiet, or just right? How do they compare to the 4" Rineharts? Sorry for the barage of questions, just trying to get as much info as possible before I pull the trigger on em.

Hello Sikbird,
I really like the Eliminator 400's. I have a stage 1 upgrade on my Road King. Between the Power duels, 400's, high flow air filter, and Feulpak, it really woke up my bike. To me, the sound is great, nice rumble, but not overkill. Rinehart makes a nice muffler, but a totally different sound. Also, the Rinehart's are louder, with a more throaty grumble. I have to be careful in Californial with the sound, so that helped steer me as well.
Performance wise, I like V&H exhaust and would recommend them. However, sound is unique to everyone. I think the 400's just look bad *** on the bike.
