Howdy. I picked up a used Deuce yesterday and it seems to run pretty strong. I was curious about what mods may have been done.
Understanding that if Harley didn't do the work they can't tell me, but is there any place I can find out what work Harley may have done to this thing? Or is this info only going to be stored what whatever dealer may have done any work?
My dealer had access to any service work performed on my bike by any Harley dealer.
Curious about one of my bikes too. It might have cams, but I'm not willing to go to much trouble to find out.
Thanks Warp. I may have to try a new dealer. I asked my usual dealer about one that I bought from them, they claimed they only had info on work they did.
Like you, I want to know, but but not all that bad.
All HD dealers should have access to work done by other dealers. All they have to do is look the bike up by VIN. Anything done by the local indy or shade tree and you will have to tear into like Next In Line said.
