Default Accessory question???

Hello forum, I have this posted in electrical forum but I thought I could get a much quicker response here... I have an 06 FatBoy with many aftermarket accessories... But when the seat is lifted off the bike there is such a massive cluster of wires connected to the battery terminals and ground... There is absolutely no problem ( as of yet) but just want to tidy up the battery compartment before there is a problem...Any advice is appreciated and thanks in advance for replies...

Maybe if you want to keep that much stuff wired direct to the battery you might want to consider setting up and aux. fuse panel. That way you'll only have one wire on the batt. to feed the panel and each item will be fused.

Just remember, the more accessories that get added on to the bike the greater of a strain it places on the charging system and battery.

Wire loom sleeves from any auto store. They come in different diameters with a slit cut for putting in the wires without unhooking them.

First thing is to figure out what you dont need and yank it out. A lot of folks guilty of adding too many elect accs and not doing the math for the charging system.
Afterwards, clean it up with routing the cables neatly and out of the way. Wire loom would be one way but a few tie wraps accomplish the same thing. Use your imagination.
