I change all the fluids, put a couple extra pounds in the tires, plug in the battery tender...

If it's above 45° I ride, luckily we usually do not have extended periods of COLD here. If there is an extended time of bitter cold I find something to paint, powdercoat or modify and tear it down during the cold spell.

Nothing except trickle charge battery and change oil before taking her out in the spring.

^^^Ditto, but I use ball of tin foil.^^^

Plastic is a rodent's tasty treat...not going to do much good if/when they invade.

This year, for winter storage, it was easy...local HD running a winter storage deal for $49 from 01 Nov - 01 Apr. Yes, that's $49 for 5-total months of storage. They already picked-up the FLHX b/c I ride the Sporty into the early winter months. Nice having some extra garage space this year.

My bikes live in a unheated Wi garage. I use Steel wool in pipes, battery tender, stabil in gas, and I pull my plugs a fog the cylinders with Marvel Mystery oil.

Another way that I've used to guard against mice is to get those sticky traps. I place them all around where the tires touch the ground and for a bike on it's side stand, place them around that also. That way mice can't climb up onto the bike, possibly chewing on those nice tasty wires!
