Does anyone have a Reckless , Hoppie etc Batwing Fairing on there Softail ?With the Freight train Nacelle. I emailed Reckless they don't seem to know what the Nacelle headlight is, which I find scary.

Bluraven do you always have to be a no it all, Headlight NACELLE is the question not if it will fit a normal headlight. You a like a vulture waiting to give a smart *** answer.

I apologize, your subject "Batwing on a Heritage" threw me off.
I thought your question was "Does anyone have a Reckless, Hoppie etc Batwing Fairing on there Softail?"

Best to just ignore
I apologized to "Softail HA" for misreading the post because I didn't notice that the question mark was misplaced.
After I apologized for misinterpreting the thread "Softail HA" took the high road and let it go.
You however feel the need to jump onto the thread rendering nothing of value but rather posting only a troll comment.
You've been member for 3 1/2 years longer than I and you've been thanked how many times for your words of wisdom?
0 that's how many.
My comments might be curt but at least 65 times other members have valued it enough to thank me for my response.
You stated "There's one of these flogs on every forum"
I guess you're proof that there's at least one troll on this one.
If you feel the need to troll me some more feel free to IM me.
I bought a eBay copy batwing for FL front ends....I started prepping it for install an now I may go another direction...I picked up a wind vest an may just get some speakers for the bars....if interested in it let me know.
I would think the freight train nacelle would be a problem with any type of batwing due to the way it is seems wider towards the bike than it is on the headlight end of it but I don't have any proof of that.
Have you tried Memphis Shade? Their customer service is usually pretty good and they participate in this forum.
Not sure this is much help but below is a picture of the Reckless Fairing on my Heritage with a standard headlight.
As you can see the fairing just fits around the headlight without much spare space and the front of the fairing is pretty much even from the front of the headlight.
I measured the headlight opening and it's right at 8 3/4" wide.
I think there's about 1/4" of space on either side of the headlight.
BTW- I love my Heritage even more with the Reckless Fairing.
I have no regrets in getting it.

Don't put a Batwing on a Heritage......! The Heritage IMHO is the best looking bike HD has, if you want a batwing get a streetglide or as their called around here "poserglides"
All 2 of the Heritages ive seen with batwings the owners took them off due to a PITA to clean around the lights, you have a bike with chrome headlights, signals, etc... why cover that up? Unless you black it all out & put apes on it so your hands are above the fairing / windshield which to me is the dumbest look.
But that's the nice thing about an HD, make it how you want it!
