If you have the money, time do it all at once and don't worry about it again except for maintenance items. If you do cams also upgrade the support plate/oil pump to the newer style, I recommend feulings kit. I'm talking about the inner cam bearings, newer stay sprockets, chains etc etc. since your gonna do the push rods, might as well do the big bore kit 95"-98" and get your heads done as well. After all that your throttle body will more than likely need to be upgraded and a dyna tune will be a must. You def can get 110 at the wheel with the right set up and tune.
