Who wears a full face?

With no windscreen a half helmet is way too loud for me, I had to swap to a full face. Opted for the Shoei modular helmet, nice to lift it up when I'm at a stop light or filling up with gas.

That is why they make ear plugs.

Well if you wear them with a half helmet like I do, then you don't have a noise issue.

I was in a wreck in 2014 and broke my jaw in 3 places. I was wearing a full face helmet at the time, though it was a little looser than it should have been and it was a cheap basic one from Built. I can’t determine whether I would have been any worse off without the full face protection or if it wouldn’t have mattered.

I now ride with a very snug Shoei full face. I don’t really care how cool I look - though sometimes I like the anonymity a black smoked out helmet can give.

Very slim and a lot less mushroomy than the typical dot half shells. I'm about to order one.
