With no windscreen a half helmet is way too loud for me, I had to swap to a full face. Opted for the Shoei modular helmet, nice to lift it up when I'm at a stop light or filling up with gas.

I installed the Sena SRL Bluetooth headset last night, sure beat having the egg slapped on the side like my Harley 3/4. The helmet is huge compared to my Race helmets. Sure comfortable but the reviews I read about fogging up easy I understand now . You are sealed inside this thing like no helmet I have ever had.
I was in a wreck in 2014 and broke my jaw in 3 places. I was wearing a full face helmet at the time, though it was a little looser than it should have been and it was a cheap basic one from Built. I cant determine whether I would have been any worse off without the full face protection or if it wouldnt have mattered.
I now ride with a very snug Shoei full face. I dont really care how cool I look - though sometimes I like the anonymity a black smoked out helmet can give.
