Ive worn a full face my whole life, until this week. I put on a 3/4 biltwell low profile and some aviator glasses. It was 90 degrees and i took off down a country road to see what all the hype is about. I didnt like the bugs hitting my face, and i didnt like all the noise. I did like the freedom i felt wearing it and the wind hitting my face, just felt great. I am claustrophobic and didnt realize how wearing a full face helmet with a smoke visor really made me feel closed in until now. I am now torn between wearing the 3/4 for an enjoyable ride, or wearing the full face and being more at risk but having a great time. I had no idea how great these rides could be. My dad wore a 3/4 helmet his whole life until he stopped riding when he was 70 and i always felt he was being very safety concious. I think ill stop being such a ***** and wear my 3.4.

I wear a 3/4 with a flip up face shield, and have for at least 15 years now. I've tried a couple of full face, but haven't found the one that fits me right and/or that I can see out of well. May have to revisit them and give the FF another whirl.

I installed a "Kuryakyn Chrome Universal Helmet Lock, Manufacturer Part Number 4220" on my Engine Guard. Yes, It was Chrome, the only way they come, but I had it powder coated Black (except for the Tumbler). It is supposed to fit 1 1/4" bars but I found the screws they furnished were not long enough so I had to get some longer SS screws at Lowes. Will touch up the screw heads with black paint when I get a chance.
Helmet Lock on Engine Guard - not visibly or physicaly obtrusive.
Lock with helmet attached at D-rings. I have the helmet rolled so you can see the lock and D-rings. In practice, helmet sits on top of footrest.
Using the D-rings is the only way a half or three-quarter helmet can be secured. I cable lock would be a better choice for a Full-face Helmet.
I would have prefered to have a similar lock that would mount to the sissy bar, but the bar diameters are too small. A loose cable and small padlock would work on the sissy bar, but it would be much more work to attach each time the lock is needed
