ghost codes
Check engine goes on while riding occasionally then speedo freezes and the odometer goes blank along with bike running liek garbage.I pull clutch in and turn bike off then fire back up while moving and it goes backto normal.No codes. Any ideas?

That switch has costed many a owner alot of money and run around chasing sensors and wiring.
Once you get the switch off you'll see the snap ring on the back side, just take that off and you'll have it opened up. I cleaned all the springs and contacts individually and then swapped the ACC contact/spring to the IGN position. Put a little dab of dielectric grease on them and put it back together. It's an easy project and doesn't take that long. I'm going to make that part of my "winter maintenance" from now on (take it apart and clean it).
