Default Looking for some handlebar advice

I have a 2015 Slim. I was thinking about getting some apes. Being a short guy it doesn't make that easy to find the right bars. I been seeing some pics pf some bars I like but I am not sure if these would be beach bars?

When I go on a little longer ride I feel like I am leaning forward and putting my weight on my hands. So would something with a little more pull back then the stock Slim bars help? I don't want anything too wide. I will post some pics I found of some bars I like. With the bars pictured would I need new cables?

The first two pics are some bars I thought might work and look good. I forgot, the g/f has to approve because the intention is the bike will be hers after riding her Sportster for a few years. The other three pics are my bike. This winter I am having some Klockwerks fenders painted and installed. So the Slim will have a little different look then stock.

Thanks
Eric

PS. My pics are always sideways and I cant figure out how to make them bigger. Sorry

The four that I would recommend are from www.flandersco.com
A7 fx/XL buck horns 1"
B7 fx/xl buck horn 1"
J5 swept back in black
D7 super glide type
Buy three of them on your charge card ,pay shipping once . Then ship back the two you did not like . You need to know where your wire will be run , inside the bar or outside the bar . Also if you keep the same height and just do a bar with 2 or 3 more inches of pull back and less with . You might just pull off a bar swap with out changing break lines , cables , or wires .

I was checking out Flanders page. That is a good idea about ordering a few bars to see what fits best

Wild 1 Knuckle Bars would be similar to the pictures you have posted too.

I think I narrowed it down between Flanders, Klock Werks Mentele and Wild Ones. I like the idea that with the Klock Werks you don't have to change any of the cables. I am not sure if that is the case with the others?

Just a thought, Instead of changing your bars have you looked at the HD pull back risers for the slim?
No need for cable swap or wire extension.

Default bars

I installed a set of Harley Street Bob Apes on my Slim.
Perfect and all the cables fit.
I do not have ABS

Talking fittin

Rule of thumb for me is shoulder high and two fists wider than my shoulders. Easiest on my back and neck and good for an all day ride.
