Morning everyone,
I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with any LED headlights other than the daymaker? I saw a couple on ebay for around 100$ but I wanted to see the quality and if anyone has anything else on their slim.
The HD Daymaker is made by JW Speaker and is a good light. That being said there are other lights out there that work just as well for a lot less coin. At the shop we sell and install a lot of the Truck-Lites for those that want a more traditional looking light. We also sell a lot of the Flashtech units. They look a lot like the Daymaker and sell for less than half the price...
Good looking slims you guys got there. I'll check out the different brands. I just don't want to fork out that much money on a HD one. Ive seen baggerbags have some for 139 and another on ebay for like 89 but I just want to make sure I'm not buying junk and that it is indeed plug and play.
FLS103, when you went with the razir, did it come with the adaptor for your slim? The price is pretty decent and it has good reviews.

It came with an adapter bracket and a capacitor that I did not have to use, the light was plug and play. I got the projector (think it's called Razir-7), it shines way down the road and also has small lights that fan out on the sides of the road. Much brighter than stock and more coverage than the drop in LED bulbs. It's advertised at 3600 lumens on low and 7100 on high, I believe it because high beam outshines my Clearwater driving lights.
I wanted to keep the look of the stock headlight and aux. lights. We went with the DK Customs. They are also a forum sponsor. Nice improvement. We also put them in the g/f's Sporty.
My Snorkster has the same anemic tiny headlight. I replaced the bulb with "I think " a wiipro LED I bought off ebay for well under $100. I have zero complaints. It's amazingly bright, with excellent road coverage. Way worth the coin in terms of night safety.
