Here is my story: I started the bike pulled in the clutch dropped it in first gear and she died. No voltage to the lights, ignition or anything else on the bike. found the 40 amp fuse blown. Checked the switch smelt a little burnt so I took it out of the system. Fuse still blows. Checked all the grounds..the ones I could find all good. I jumper the neutral switch wire together thinking it shorted. fuse still won't hold. Any suggestions on what I might check next? Now remember it started idled and dropped in gear never to breath again.
Thanks
Thanks I will take a look at the diagram. It still baffles me that I have not done any wiring or changed anything on the bike and when I dropped it in gear everything went south. I am still leaning towards the neutral switch but can't help to think it's something major.
sbarron the only thing I have done is ride. That's what is strange about this. the bike has been performing great until Saturday. I haven't touch a thing.
