48 years old here, i have an fxstc and i have very bad hips and very inflexible hips. I dont find this bike to be any more uncomfortable than any other harley ive ridden in the past. No matter what bike i ride or how great it is i always have to stop and get off and take a break every hour to 1.5 or i cant go any further because of hip pain. You should see me walk after getting off of the bike after an hour lol its like im 100 for the first few steps. Anyways, idk whos saying the fxstc makes your hips hurt? not true i say.
I started reading this to find out if mid controls would help with the pain. But ridding my buddies dyna with mid controls did little to nothing for me.

i bet some type of custom seat would help. i used to get hip pain from sitting on the classic style mustang seat. ever since going to an Ultimate Seat, i've never had that trouble since
