I put a SuperTrapp system on my bike. I didn't want pipes to be so loud on a longer ride. This sytem lets you either add or remove plates to your liking and that is what sold me on it. From the end of the muffler to the header is a tapered look and many don't like it. To me is is all about noise level and I am happy with it.
Take your time and find bikes that have 2:1 pipes you can listen too first. These are not cheap and you really only want to do it one time out. Good Luck
Mr Softy-- good advice. I live in a rural area so I don't get a change to hear a lot of bikes. The removal plates sound good, how much of a job is it to add or remove them?
Thanks,
Old geaser and 09fitz, I went to the Bassani website and listened to the video. 2to1 sounded pretty loud, are there exchangable baffles? What baffles did you guys use?

3 screws at the end of the muffler, easy in easy out. I coated them with anti seize the first time I used them.
