Fuel Moto Problems
Your comment, "Yes the warranty is up, but this was neither a used or abused product" is wrong. It was a used product. You used it 10 times. Whether you abused it or not doesn't matter. The warranty is up. I understand you're pissed. Furthermore, "I don't live in the USA this was a $700 dollar purchase for me" doesn't matter. I live in the USA and mine cost $400. Should they replace yours and not mine because you paid more? I feel the same about my tuner as I do yours. If my warranty was up and it died I'd be **** out of luck also.
Recently, there have been a few threads about people pissed that a company won't replace items that are out of warranty. I don't get it. These aren't unlimited lifetime warranties. You're **** out of luck because **** happens. The last thing I would do is get on a public forum and whine about it.
The title of the thread is wrong. You have Powervision problems, not Fuel Moto problems. It's the tuner that's broken, not the retailer that sold it to you. The retailer doesn't warranty the product, the manufacturer does. You knew this when you stated "I realize Fuel Moto does not make the powervision 2".
You used it 10 times. You got good use out of it and now it died. Buy a new tuner and move on.
If you have any chance, whatsoever, of getting any joy out of this situation it would happen by calling PowerVision. Don't hold your breath. Here's a word of advice. If you call them don't be an ahole to them. You catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar. Good luck.
My apologies for the lengthy reply to the OP's diatribe.
I can't imagine DynoJet not giving you a hand, unless you screwed it up... They should at least be willing to inspect it, if you send it back to them..
Just curious..... Did you try a new cable? Are the cable contacts buggered up? If it's totally dead, it may not be getting a signal....
