Default 2009 Fatboy Handlebars/Risers Question

I saw a 2009 Fatboy with what looked like stock handlebars that were wired internally. However, at the handlebar clamps/riser and hand controls area it looked like the handlebars became narrower. If the bars are 1.25" what is the diameter at the risers area, 1"? I was also told (not sure if this was true) that the fatboys could have come with different handlebars. I've seen others where it didn't look like the bars became more narrow in those areas. Anyone else seen this?

Did you have to replace all your cables (throttle/brake/switches) or were you able to use the stock cable setup?

No-did not change any cables, but I made sure I didn't have to before swap.
