For now my Heritage will do just fine with the motor she has...gotta think long game with retirement from my current job around the corner. As long as I'm still riding, I'll be good. Gotta get set financially for right now.

That would be cool. I have been looking for another bike. Want a dresser/bagger. Have seen several nice ones but I just can't make myself do anything until the new ones come out.
If I buy one now I may regret it in a month or two.

Most people agree the EVO was the best motor. After that came the Twinkie, the M8 is probably one step even further away. I was sold on the M8, but now I'm not so sure

Employee at dealer told me Friday that they are very nervous because they have way too many Dynas and softies than they should for this time of year. He said people are waiting and not buying hoping for the M8. Said we may get stuck like they did with the dressers last fall thru spring. N.E.Ohio

Probably right. Alot of folks waiting on that M8. Myself, I'll scoop up another twin cam and smile till they work out any more M8 bugs.

HD better get with it and introduce their new M8's in many more models for as you can see below Indian is coming on strong.

Indian MotorcycleŽ continued to deliver strong retail sales increasing 17% for the quarter. Polaris raising full year sales guidance and narrowing its earnings per share outlook. Adjusted sales for the full year 2017 expected in the range of up 12% to 14%.

Harley-Davidson Q2 Sales Down 9.3% In US, 6.7% Worldwide. Profit Down. Cutting Again 2017 Shipping To Dealers Forecast.

The Harley dealer by me sells Indian and victory. He said he sells 50 Harley's for every Polaris product. With Victory gone, I bet it's more like 100 to one.

If it were me, I would buy a softail with a 110" SE over the new M8. Yes, the new motor has less vibration and it's a little more powerful (barley) I would take a 110" over it any day. Trust me, I have a new M8 and a 2017 110" softail in the garage. The softail walks away from the M8 like nobody's business, the difference is pathetic.

Of course the my RG is heavier but it's just on a whole another level.

just my 2 cents
