I got my Fat Boy S two months ago with $2k under MSRP and some free accessories.
Maybe is only the "low sales", or maybe is the new engine...
They also mentioned the Fatboy S will be done. (no big news there)
I'm 100% happy with my 110 SE engine (and the all black look of the S), but I hope they keep upgrading the engines and moving on.

I am very happy with the 103HO on my '17 Slim (which I bought knowing full well Harley had come out with a new engine).
Unless someone can prove to me that the M8 is vastly superior (or Harley comes out with a new springer), I won't be trading in the Slim any time soon.

No thanks.....not me. Not even if it were the same price. I will be Pizzed off if they come out with 110's in them!
I plan to trade my Fat Boy S for a Heritage either 107 or 103. I'm sick and tired of the issues I've had with it.

I asked this question to one of the service dept guys I know and he told not this year, no M8 softail, as they have to get the frame and oil cooling situation figured out yet..... Idk we'll see!!!
