So other than those few minor issues, you've had good luck with the bike???
that's about right, I've managed 25,000 miles in the 2 years and 2 solo trips to NC. Still who needs all this. I'm hoping for a trouble free M8 Heritage, fingers crossed I don't get a lemon.
The left side signal light and the high beam light on the dash have stopped working 4 times and has been replaced/fixed (not sure that I know what the problem is exactly). This happens when I either ride in torrential rain or wash the bike and forget to cover the console. Saturday I washed the bike and forgot, Sunday I can't see if the left signal is on. 5 times!! Clearly this is an issue that nobody can fix as soon as it gets a soaking it goes out. I need to call the dealer to add it to next week's service list.
This can be prevented from happening again with a liberal application of dielectric grease on the electrical connections under the dash when they replace the indicator assembly. It is a common problem and fix, and will prevent future problems.

I'm sorry, it's not a bit funny. I hope the new bike is more trouble free.

They said they've done this each time, anyway after the service and fix tomorrow I'm trading as soon as I find a new Heritage later this week or next week or so.
That would be cool. I have been looking for another bike. Want a dresser/bagger. Have seen several nice ones but I just can't make myself do anything until the new ones come out. If I buy one now I may regret it in a month or two.
I did move on a low mileage King purchase earlier this month. I know it's early, but from what little I've seen of the 2018
Heritage I don't have any regrets.

I agree. They totally ruined the 2018 Heritage, looks wise.
