Default 1997 FLSTS Bank Angle Sensor Switch

Where do I find the Bank Angle Sensor Switch for a 1997 FLSTS and how do I reset...yep, dropped the bike in the garage

If the bike had one you would reset it by cycleing the ignition switch...pretty sure a 97 FLSTS doesn't have one...only came on fuel injected bikes.

Hey Tom I thought the later evo's had one under the nose cone, the cam pick up sensor had a lean sensor to shut the bike off if it were dropped. the early ones were plain an the later ones had that black block thing that contained it.

cycle the key a few times or disconnect the battery for half an hour.

If I remember right, 5 times off and on with the switch will reset it.

After some research you are correct..96 up had a "Vehicle Attitude Sensor"...basically the same thing...and they are notorious for failing...word is if yours is dead...get an ignition-sensor-plate that doesn't have one.
