That's a good looking bike at a good price. When it gets here. Post up some pictures and let us start helping you spend your money on all the modifications… LOL

Thank you and will post more pix but this might be boring since it is 100% but I am affraid I wont be able to resist anyway i plan to modify this bike slowly and creaste classic 60 era look as I did old school style so probably auxiliary lamps kit will be on of the first things I will buy and engine guard and possibly classic looking horn from springer (hd has this horn in their catalog forever)

Still dont know what route to go as far as engine trim and accessible? Black or chrome. My sportster is all chromed out so I am not sure I want to do that again and I thought what is advantage of black that I dont have to replace all parts I can just paint or preferably power coat them and use what I got already on the bike. Seen some great pix on this forum that gave me some good ideas already.

I have a good friend that has a street glide in the gray denim with all gloss black trim it is absolutely the best looking bike I've seen in a long time. Mine is vivid black and I've got a long ways to go but I will get there. Got to get those silly *** reflectors off and then start with the black out process. I am trying more for the 60s retro look. Keep us posted with your progress and updates

I have that exact bike. Same year and color. U got a damn good deal! All I've done to mine is smoked turn signal lenses, Ness grips, edge cut hand levers, black factory mirrors. Next week I'm sending all chrome engine covers out for powder coating. I'm blacking it out little by little.
I think the slim is a good platform that allows u to go in any direction. Problem for me was deciding which. Lol. Can't wait to see what u do with it! Congrats brother.

Looks like my post got hijacked but now I will have sportster for sale so I will go with the flow. My Slim is arriving in few hours and considering that it was ebay purchase I am REALLY waiting to see it.

Pix of my Sport for sale here if anyone is interested let me know It is 1994 with Buell heads and 4 deg front rake. This thing pulls like crazy. I will say this is Stage 3/4 I am asking 4500 but it is negotiable. I am close to Chicago

Ok guys sorry I didnt know how to post in reply to my own post so I hoped someone will reply so I can share . Bike arrived and man oh man what a pleasant surprise it looks brand new and keep in mind this was ebay purchase from 500 miles away. I gave it a test ride and all is good but I have to say finding neutral is real bitch. I already adjusted clutch so will see on next ride how it goes.

This ride is practically new with spider webs under the frame which I was happy about as I know it was just sitting in someone's garage, left HD tank badge still had foil transparent sticker on it and I removed small pieces of plastic wrap from under the seat which I beleive were put there by factory. Hard to believe but I got lucky out of ebay purchase. I wish anyone such luck with eBay.

Now that I cooled down of course I am thinking about HD taxes/stage I mods. Since I am carburetor dude all this electronic modules and ECM's are foreign to me so I will appreciate some guidance on how to recalibrate ECM after intake and exhaust instalation. I lean toward Screamin Eagle components as financially it might be smart decision (I can buy mufflers only vs whole system but V&H options are on the table during consideration). I am looking for relatively quiet exhaust while still enchancing performance. Any recommendations are welcome.

I am really curious about this ECM recalibration and wonder if this is really necessy even with stage I.

please keep me posted
