Thanks to everyone for the input, but it was just me being a butthead and not doing it right. I was at work all night and figured it out then. I was tightening the adjuster all the way until it stopped turning, instead of feeling where it hit. I didn't go for a ride yet, gotta go to sleep but at least the bike will move now, and the friction point feels good.
Now if I can only figure out how to change my user name.
BTW, if you click the "Contact HDF" tab on the top of the screen and send a message, one of the admins can change your name. That's how I did it.
