My check engine light is coming on to show a historic code, meaning, it comes on for the initial key on voltage check then goes off and comes back on for the 8 sec interval then goes off and stays off, doesn't come back on while riding. But be dammed if I can pull a code from it by means of jumping the data link connector.

Try riding it for a while. Though rare your ecm could have lost its adaptive memory and needs to relearn.

The battery was an old one I had had prior problems with it so I did put a new HD battery in the bike, changed the coil, new plugs wires and no change. I have a different TSSM, thought maybe it may be culpart since everything is wired into that thing seems like. But haven't moved on that yet. I do have a volt meter and going to test the Voltage Regulator, probably should've started there huhh?

No not any better at all but sometimes it does seem different and just when I think it's improving it shows me different. May just be in my head too IDK, but not fixed by no means
