Speedo/tach combo not working properly.
Having a problem with new speedo/tach combo with the changing colors etc, gas gauge....
I did the install as manual stated an did the 31 miles deal,but the speedo doesn't go into setup mode to get gas gauge to work or change colors an all that stuff. Anyone have this problem or know what to do about it....? Speedo an tach does work, just nothing else

I bought this same speedo and had the exact same problem. Turned out that the speedo didn't like the fact that I had had an aftermarket electrical component (amplifier positive lead) spliced into a specific accessory wire under the seat.
Worked like a charm once I unhooked the accessory.

I disconnected (unhooked) the electrical accessory from the bike. I don't remember what color wire it had been attached to.
Do you have any electrical accessories wired to your bike?

The only thing I've done was put the new speedo in an have leds for signals an brake lights. Nothing else is modded.

I also have LED signals and brake light on mine, but they weren't the problem with the new speedo.
