He's using all HD cables and bits...no issues. Yes it's a '18 Fat Boy, but it's all about the same...

Talked to HD and they only carry cables up to their 16 bars, I'm going with either Factory 47 maddoggers in the 20in variety or Carlini 19's.

If you wa t to lower the other softails, it'll cost about 500.00, for the shorter monoshock, and the kickstand, which you have to change, as well.
Well musicnbikes, since you mentioned it, I thought about it, and I think I WILL lower the bike, HD lowering shock in the back and the front lowering kit, probably even get the seat shaved down a bit and have them push me forward. And yes, even change that kickstand.

Thank you for your thoughtful suggestion. With the sales guy pushing down on the back of the bike it was a great height. I'm not heavy enough to even bring the seat down to the "laden" spec.

I love how customisable Harleys are. Pretty much not a thing on them you can modify to make them just how you need.

I test rode one and loved it but would like to get the bars a bit closer to me and rolling them back wasn't enough. Trying to get an idea of what it would take prior to purchasing a bike and I really don't like the looks of the reach seats plus they change your seat to feet position.

Thanks!
There are pullback risers that will get the bars back to you a little...about 1 1/2". The 3 1/2"-4" risers can be installed without changing any cables. A combination of the risers and rolling the bars back a little will get you about 2 1/2 to 3 inches.
