Default 2018 Softails now have a wet sump, really?

I've been reading articles about the new 2018 line up, several articles mention that the oil tank is gone and the engines are now wet sump.
I have a 2017 M8 and know it is a dry sump. I posted here because this wet sump is only mentioned in association with the 2018 softail models.
Anyone else wondering about this?

No - they don't. They have a dry sump with an oil pan under the transmission.

There have been a few incorrect articles out there.....

Do they still have the faux pogo tube on the Softails?

Just shows how much mis-info is out there!
Some M8's with stage kits are having issues because oil is staying in the crankcase, if more than 3 oz come out when the crank sensor is removed, you are sumping.

Moving the oil tank is one of the best ideas for the new bikes.

Wet sump? There's none? It's fake news. Total disaster. So sad!

Yup, just the same as the touring bikes and Dynas have had since 1993.
