Default ABS brake line question

I installed a set of 2017 Fatboy-S bars on my '16 Breakout. I need a longer upper ABS brake line as it is clothes lined right now and cannot turn the bars to the left past center.

For the Reach bar (same as the Fatboy-S bar but chrome, I wanted black!) it states that you need a Diamondback (black) brake line p/n: 41800436. Has anyone installed this line (or the chrome one, p/: 41800420)?

How much longer than the stock line is it? It needs to be 4"+ in length!

Try Magnum Shielding, they made one for my 2017 Slim S.

Yeah I already have my eye on one that is +4". I was inquiring about the OEM Diamondback line as it is 30% cheaper.

Magnum Shielding manufactures Harley's Diamondback and Diamondblack cables otherwise known as Sterling Chromite II and Black Pearl.

The part number you referenced has a 35 degree banjo and is 24.5in in length.
I put moto style bars on mine and the 35 degree banjo is much more appropriate than the 90 degree banjo. Just pick up a p-clamp to secure the brake line to the back of your top triple tree (you'll see the threaded hole there).

Like you said, those bars are exactly the same as the reach bars and the cable/line part numbers are specific to that setup on the breakout. If you have stock height risers. The part number you referenced is exactly what you should get.

Awesome! Thanks for your response. I saw the length and that was the reason I questioned it. I measured the original line taking into account the loop at the ABS module and it measured out at around 31". When I saw that the line was 24" I thought that the line was going to be too short.

Here is what they look like so far...

They look good on there. You'll be significantly more upright. My wife has these on her bike too.

Harley typically omits the hard line as part of their measurement for brake lines for future reference.

Well the brake line came in but I would have needed to get the rest of the line (Lower line) to the tune of $280. So I returned the H-D line and ordered the Magnum line.
