exhaust recommendations please
It's got a deep throaty bark. Not as loud as the D&D Godzilla I had on my 117 CI FXSTC. Which is OK with me...IMO the Godzilla was to loud for extended riding on long trips. It's still got that deep D&D 2-1 rumble without being obnoxious. The power these D&D 2-1 pipes make will put a serious smile on your face.
Hey guys! Looks like this thread kinda got sidetracked (or STOLEN)! If you look at the photo of my bike, you'll see that it is a bright orange CVO with a ton of chrome. Obviously these blacked out exhausts won't even look real on this bike. But thanks for the interest anyhow. To restate. I am looking for some more ideas for an exhaust that is a LITTLE louder than stock that won't interfere with aggressive low turns. Thanks!!
"Looks like this thread kinda got sidetracked (or STOLEN)!"...yeah that usual happens on threads about exhausts. Keep in mind that most black /ceramic exhausts that you see pictured here are typically offered in chrome.
Got my '05 Night Train two years ago and had stock exhaust and air cleaner. I read a load of reviews, watched a bunch of you tube videos with different pipes running and hit up fellow riders to see what they had after I heard them running.
I changed out the air cleaner for a Roland Sands Black Ops and the pipes with Vance and Hines 2 into 2 Big Radius. Now the bike puts out some roar, and the pipes direct the noise down towards the street. When I'm riding I can hear the pipes but recently the wife was on the bike and I was standing behind when she hit the gas and I didn't realize how loud they were, holy smokes....
I leave for work at 1030 at night, and when I fire it up an drive up the street I run low key, and I haven't jagged any neighbors off. So they're loud when you want them to be but not crazy if you want to run a little low key....
Aviscomi also raised a good point that many of the examples do have two finishes available to suit your taste.
Good luck on your search.

You post a pic of an older (not 2018) Softail with chrome looking for high hanging exhaust options due to scraping. From the looks of your headers, you already have some high mount headers. You are looking for a bit more sound than stock.
I would suggest using those headers you have with some Screamin Eagle II mufflers. A bit more sound and performance and if those are stock headers, they should fit fine.
As a side note, are you even scraping those mufflers you have now? If so right on and ride on brother!!!!!!!! I bet you dont have chicken strips!
