While I believe my 2018 Heritage is pretty ugly, I must say that your Fat Boy is about THEE ugliest Softail I've yet too see. I guess I have some uglifying to do to catch up and I will provide some pics along the way. That paint job you got is truly disgustingly ugly, and thank you again for lowering the bar for us all. Deeply inspired now!
The latest Road Rider Mag, (Came in the mail today) has a nice write up on a 2 day road trip on a new '18 114 Heritage Classic. They loved it and called it HD's new Sports Tourer.
Standard height sissy bar, Removable docking hardware (with locks), pad for bar (I think with low rider styling), Defiance rear brake pedal pad and grips, Chrome & Rubber collection shift peg, Split Vision Mirrors, K&N filter, Mobil 1 V-Twin 20-50 oil, oil filter undecided thus far...
Maybe get rid of them hideous wheels followed by that "futuristic" "metric looking" headlight.
I am absolutely CRAZY about the wheels, liking them even more than the chrome bullet hole ones (chrome( that came on mt '10 FB.
Not a huge fan of the headlight top view or profile, but love it from the front, especially that "Halo Ring" of sorts that LED makes. Yet, I don't think the light looks metric any more than I thought my round one looked metric when metrics also had round lights. It just looks, uh, "different"...
^^^Yes, Yankees, the design seems to be polarizing. When I first saw it, my heart started racing. It seems as though one either loves it or hates it, leaving very few in the middle. Sounds like politics...^^^

I for one think the headlight nacelle looks like the rear end of a Labrador with the hind legs as the forks.
The new wheels look awful online to me but in person they are alright and are growing on me. I still think the chrome fifty caliber wheels are a work of art though.
If we all liked the same thing, the world would be pretty boring.

Just in case, I was being sarcastic as I own one myself. Agreed with the look of the headlight from the front, looks mean. Funny thing, I just had some dude comment on it, said "that thing looked like a freight train coming from behind". "Looked mean coming at me when I looked at my rear view mirror" I thought to myself, "that's what HD intended"

Funny, my friend made the animal reference but in another direction. Likened the stance of the bike with the new nacelle/headlight to that of a Silverback. Short and Stocky. Nacelle, Small head with the beefy forks as the arms.

I got it, no worries! Do you remember HDs "Freight Train headlight"? Now THAT looked like a freight train! See below:
