I'm looking for new aftermarket saddlebags. I have put Hertiage bags on a '11 Deluxe. I want a little bigger bag that still bolt up. My V & H Big Shots allow me the clearance for the Heritage bags so something similar but without the studs. Opinions, suggestions?
I picked up a set of HD fatboy bags on CL for cheep till I decide what I want.
I want hard bags due to the wet weather in WA.
But they are filling the need while I decide.
I did a "restore" on them after I got them home (looked like new).
Are you planning on quick disconnect or hard mount?
What style?
I put Leather Pros on my Deluxe, but they look too be patterned off the Heritage bags. So I don't think they are any larger. The buckle straps are narrow and mine stretched in less than 400 miles. I guess from wind trying to pull the lids up, because my bags were never stuffed.
Anyone know of good bags at a good price everything I see has a stoopid price on it.
OP there's an Italian guy on the forums who makes really nice leather bags ,can't think of his name but when I do I'll post it up here it's Avioni or something two words.
