Great bikes, but I don't think I could handle the seating position for long. 20 years ago I only could do about 50 miles before I completely cramped up when riding my M900 Duc.

Actually the prices are reasonable considering they are limited production bikes.

Not true.

And to those just joining the conversation, she had a stage IV/V installed at the dealer which included Vance and Hines exhaust on a 2017 Breakout. Then she was drag racing it. Then decided the bike was too loud so the exhaust was modified but not retuned to compensate for the exhaust modifications. More drag racing and the bike broke. The bike was ridden so hard that in addition to engine damage caused by improper tuning, something broke or wore out with the clutch and/or transmission.

Next step, post some nice pictures, because who doesn’t like pictures of a pretty girl on a bike right? Generate sympathy along with the occasional adolescent leg humping comment.

While most people make mistakes, many accept the consequences and learn from them. That has not been the case in this instance, as evidenced by the ongoing warranty comment.

Ask your dealer what oil he put in the bike. Better to stay with the same oil I think, but then oil is oil.

Thank you so much ! xoxoox

I find it incredulous that with the mention of significant engine enhancements and drag racing within recent posts that the concept of adding what is the 'lifeblood' to any engine needs to be asked? Also the exhaust swap beggars belief with such a highly tuned engine?

Perhaps one should consider the prospect of learning to walk before attempting to run or rather 'drag race' or better still sit down and read your owners manual? Must admit though apart from reading it to set the security pin I haven't leafed through it much myself but that comes with experience and being an engineer.

I don't think under the explained circumstances anyone would realistically expect any kind of remaining warranty whatsoever?

correct fluids an proper maint is critical to a bike, especially when you max out the performance like you have. If you plan on keeping the bike I'd run AMS or red line 20w50 in it an change it every 3,000 miles...that heat is hard on a bike...I was stuck in traffic there in the 80's on my Honda interceptor an the oil got so hot the clutch was failing an that was a liquid cooled bike (but with common oil for engine/trans/clutch)

remember your bike is putting out about 50% more power than stock (maybe more?) so you're stressing everything a lot more than the orig design so proper maint is a must. do some reading on it....your whole bad experience was probably avoidable....I'd be pissed too but now the best thing to do is learn from it an have a great ownership experience going forward.

My handle bar and head light vibrate like hell - the head light vibrated out of its position a few times i had to tighten it down a few times too i rode my bike one night and saw the headlight pointing to the sky lol.

That guy is an idiot don't listen to him he is trying to be a Harley fanboy accusing me of using my drag racing - but one day he will find out the hard way .... Harley will if they could get away with it dishonor their warranty.

Three of my friends also didn't get warranty because they tuned their bikes with Dynojet and a couple of my other friends voided their warranty for using Vance and Hines Fp3 tuner - i didn't get warranty because they blamed my Vance and Hines quiet baffles (they didn't mention anything about my drag racing) !

I am going to use screaming eagle syn oil 20/50
