Thanks for filling in the story prot, doc.
Doesn't really add up and seems some information has been held back. Can't really blame the dealer, I'm sure after 5 new bikes he would of liked to stand by the lady but just couldn't as it was her/there fault.
Sounds expensive for new pistons and rings and honed again, I wonder if the crank has slipped also.
Yup , you never really win the stop light GT hey !
Glad you got it back on the road. Thanks for sharing so we can all learn along with you, though I’m sure it’s tough to go through. You’ve convinced me to definitely stop at Stage II. If I need to go faster (I don’t), I’ll get a Ducati. Love the radical Breakout anyway.
Just did a Dyno on it a few days ago the bike is running like a real stage 5 now ... sounds so deep and has loads of power.
I went to an Indian dealership the sales people scared me so i left ! I wasn't in the market to buy anyway but they were like sharks !!!

Do you have video of what your bike sounds like when you are riding it? I've always wanted to hear what the 114 sounded like

I kept the stage 5 but Harley shot themselves in the foot I am no longer buying 2018 Harley Breakout after what I've gone through and knowing Harley will not honor their warranty has made me go else where ... so if i do get a knew bike it will probably be an Indian.

Piece of friendly advice, if you think the grass is greener on the other side you are sadly mistaken. Not only that, but I can't think of a bike Indian makes that would look good on you. Stick with HD, this will all go away soon enough. I have a close friends that own a Indian dealership, for obvious reasons I can't say names but you are FAR BETTER OFF.
