Here's the Fat Boy with a luggage rack and leather tool bag.
With bags.
Actually, your bike looks good with these bags, in my opinion. When you have the bags on, you could take the sissy bar and luggage rack off and show off that classic fatboy rear fender.
Here is a picture of my 2018 Fat Boy with gloss black Viking Bags hard bags.
Hey dusty,
I have the same bike as you and I was wondering if you had to remove the license plate from the right turn signal light inorder to install these bags?
I swore I would never put saddlebags on my Fatboy, because I wanted it to keep a sporty look. I had a single ammo can mounted on the left side for about two years, but I grew to like it less and less. I was still against saddlebags.
That is, until I discovered these:
They keep the sporty look while giving me more than twice the storage of the stupid ammo can, and they look MUCH classier.
Solo swing arm bag for me. Bags may look good on a Deluxe but not on mine. I have removed a lot of parts on my Deluxe and the first to go were the bags and that *&#&*( cow bell
I've had three Fatboys and, except for short experiments with throwovers, didn't have bags on any of them. I had a sissy bar though and just slapped a bag on it when I went on a trip. It's good to be able to change the look every now and then.
