Dumbass
l have been riding and working on Softails for 15 years. Can't tell how many times I have fiddled with the mounting bolts on the rear of I the rider Seat.
So many times knocking the whole plate out through the fender when trying to refit the seat.I feel like a real Dumbass when I think how much time I have wasted relocating the plate and the plastick washers back,only to knock them out at the next attempt.Had a moment of clarity today and strapped the smallest of zypp ties around the screw stud above the plastic retainer washers,which fail to retain anything.Set to it and did the same to my personal 2001 Springer!
Stupid but True.How about you?
