A 2018 should not be showing a oil light at idle much less ridding along. Now grant you, if it went off, what can you or a dealer do.
I would sure be having them at minimum write up a service statement on it.
I would not just want them tearing into it but a oil light if it is the real thing is a stop and trailer it kind of problem.

I've read somewhere in these forums that you should check your pump. Seems Harley oil pumps have a real problem with loosing pressure but not throwing a code. On a 2018 I would suspect improper assembly more than anything else.

I read that the harley casting of the oem oil pump if you line the holes of the HD casted pump housing to the engine itself you'll see that they are slightly mismatched. Meaning that not 100% of the oil flow, flows because of the mismatch. The aftermarket pumps and housings are not made of casted junk metal and those holes are larger and line up perfectly and send 100% of the oil pressure thats suposed to flow to your motor.
